Celebrate Accomplishment; take a pause

Hello beautiful human,

Have you ever taken the time to celebrate an accomplishment? Sat back and said to yourself, “yeah, I did that, and I am damn proud." No matter how little the accomplishment may have been. For instance if you took the time to create joy last week, have you taken the time to acknowledge that? Acknowledgment and celebration of accomplishment plays a big role in how we feel about ourselves and setting ourselves up in a positive way.

For me, I just wrapped up two consecutive weekends of a yoga teacher training in San Luis Obispo, California. It was a lot of work and man, was it ever a work of joy. I got to work alongside a dear, dear friend, work with participants who have received so much positivity from their own yoga practice that they now want to turn around and offer yoga to others. Which is exactly what I was doing! I celebrate the accomplishment of delivering the material to the best of my ability and doing so with fun and joy! Knowing I am giving others an opportunity to practice and share with others something that is so healing and freeing if you open yourself up fully to the process.

Lastly, I want to remind you that every accomplishment starts with the decision to just do something. I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't believe in myself, push my limits, experience life, and do it with joy. We all deserve to do what we love with joy, and if that's something you're working towards, keep going. And remember to take the time to acknowledge each accomplishment, each step of the way no matter how small.
