Deeper Learning

Experience deep asana & philosophy

in an intimate class setting with

dedicated individual attention.

Anatomy and philosophy are connected, and I'd like to share with you how.

Many of us arrive at the gates of yoga through physical classes, and many times it takes us years to learn yoga philosophy even exists. And the philosophy is the juice of the practice. After witnessing this anatomical/philosophical divide, I wondered what it would be like if we connected the physical and philosophical at the same moment in an accessible class setting.

That's why I have carefully and deliberately created the Deeper Learning: a 3-week series  that is asana-based and infused with philosophy. These series are an opportunity to not only learn asana and heal the body, but also build a cumulative embodiment that allows us to see ourselves more clearly.

I've also limited the number of students per series to between 8 to 12 students, so that each student can receive individual attention. Please trust, you will be seen, heard, and there will be ample time for discussion.

The 3 Gunas
In yoga philosophy, our perceptions are guided by 3 primal qualities, or gunas: what is dark & chaotic, active & passionate, and harmonious & sweet. Learning to identify and work with these qualities allows us to dial down the frequencies that control our stress and dial up our contentment.

The Wheel of Sams(k)ara
Something happens in your life and you spin into the same old story you always tell yourself. That story leads you back into that same old action you always take and now you're stuck on the wheel of samsara, with old samskaras. Join us to get off the trigger wheel.

From my students

Tina has been amazing in helping me take my practice to the next level. She is a rare combination of humble, grounded, and spiritual. Her perception is great and, in addition to being able to detect subtle ways I can improve my form, she is able to recognize and adapt exercises to my state of mind making deeper challenges possible. I think these qualities enable her to understand me as a student and have accelerated my progress towards my goals.
